Welding Laboratory; While it owns welded manufacturing research, it contributes to the undergraduate-graduate education / training activities of welded manufacturing with its device infrastructure. Education and research activities are carried out in this laboratory with various arc welding machines, MIG/MAG, TIG welding machines and non-destructive testing equipment such as liquid penetration tests, magnetic inspection, ultrasonic inspection.

Welding laboratory is used for welding laboratory experiments of students in IML 401 and MAK 401 courses, and also for necessary experiments in graduate theses.

In this context, it has been used in the experimental studies of many master's and doctoral theses.

Examples of the studies carried out;

1. Industrial project of increasing metal cutting performance of LPG gas with AYGAZ company

2. Investigation of applicability of MIG Brazing process

3. Analysis of distortion of austenitic stainless steels during welding

4. Investigation of the effect of process parameters on the corrosion resistance of the joint in spot welding of galvanized steels

5. Investigation of arc metal spraying process
