The project titled ‘Integrated Microfluidic System to Capture Circulating Tumor Cells by Ferromagnetic Nano-clusters in Si’ was funded by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) within the frame of bi-lateral cooperation between The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MID Uzbekistan) and TUBITAK. The Project is about development of lab-on-a-chip system to capture rare cancer cells from the blood sample. The project is coordinated and managed by Prof. Dr. Levent Trabzon from Mechanical Engineering Department at ITU and Prof. Dr. M. Kabir Bakhadirkhanov from Tashkent State Technical University.
