ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is ranked 1st in Turkey and 134th in the world in the 2023 QS World University Rankings

According to the 2023 World University Ranking by subject results of the world-renowned higher education rating agency QS, ITU was ranked 108th in Engineering and Technology and 134th in Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering. With this result, ITU became the 1st in Turkey in the field of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering.

According to the 2023 World University Ranking by subject results of the world-renowned higher education rating agency QS, ITU was ranked 108th in Engineering and Technology and 134th in Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering. With this result, ITU became the 1st in Turkey in the field of Mechanical, Aviation and Manufacturing Engineering.

ITU ranked 108th in the world in the field of “Engineering and Technology” in the QS 2023 World University Rankings by Subject, announced in March 2023. It took the first place in Türkiye in a total of ten areas including Engineering and Technology, Architecture/Built Environment, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Materials Sciences, Earth and Marine Sciences, and Mining/Mineral Engineering.

ITU ranked Türkiye’s 1st for International Research Network in 2024 QS Europe University Ranking

ITU ranked 138th in the 2024 QS Europe University Rankings announced by the QS for the first time this year. ITU ranked Türkiye’s 1st  for “International Research Network”, and 2nd for “Academic Reputation”, “Employer Reputation”, and “Sustainability” among the metrics subjected to the evaluation.

ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Continues Its Rise

ITU rose from the 401-500 range it was in last year to the 301-400 range in the field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject 2024 results.
