As part of Istanbul Technical University's 250th annivarsary, Technology Seminars and Young Researchers Seminars are being organized at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Many esteemed Professors present their current research in these seminars, meeting with participants within the structure of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Within the scope of ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology Seminars, a seminar titled “Harnessing AI Responsibly: An Overview of Technology and Policy” was presented by Prof. Dr. Ramayya Krishnan, Dean of the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, with the contributions of the Carnegie Mellon University Turkey Alumni Association.

A seminar titled "Product Development Process and the Role of the Engineer" was given by Mr. Sabri Erkan Polat.
Sabri Erkan Polat, a 1986 graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at ITU, completed his master's degree at UMIST Manchester University with a state scholarship and then worked as a design and method engineer at Etibank's Seydişehir Machine Factory, where he was a scholarship holder. He currently serves as the R&D Vehicle Engineering Director at Tofaş A.Ş., where he has held various engineering and management positions for over 30 years.
Within the scope of ITU Mechanical Engineering Faculty 250th Year Technology Seminars, a seminar titled "CHICXULUB ASTEROID IMPACT AND SIMULATION OF CRETACEOUS-PALEOGENE MASS EXTINCTION" will be presented by Dr. Cem Berk Şenel.
