Graduate Thesis Studies Completed At ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Postgraduate thesis studies were carried out in Heat Fluid Master, Solid Object Mechanics Master, Construction Master, Machine Dynamics, Vibration and Acoustics Master, Materials and Manufacturing Master, Automotive Master, System Dynamics and Control Master, and Mechanical Engineering Doctorate Programs within the scope of ITU Graduate School Department of Mechanical Engineering.

250th ANNIVERSARY SEMINARS

In the framework of the 250th Anniversary of ITU, a series of seminars on the history of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was organised. The first seminar of this series was held by Dr Uğurcan Eroğlu, the second seminar by Dr Murat Çakan, and the third seminar by Dr Emin Öngüner.In the framework of the 250th Anniversary activities of ITU, Seminars on Solid Mechanics and Structural Mechanics were held by Dr Giuseppe Ruta, who is working as an associate professor of structural mechanics in the Department of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering at La Sapienza University.

The master's thesis which Hacı Abdullah Taşdemir is the advisor, received the third-best thesis award

At the graduation ceremony of ASELSAN Academy 2022, the master's thesis titled "Design and Mechanical Analysis of a Stripless Ammunition Feeding Mechanism for a Medium Caliber Cannon" by Cihan Turan, of which Hacı Abdullah Taşdemir is the advisor received the third best thesis award.

Dr. Alaeddin Burak İrez Won The Best Presentation Award

Dr Alaeddin Burak İrez won the best presentation award with his presentation titled “Development of cost-effective sustainable hybrid composites based on recycled PP and chopped carbon fibers” at the 6th International Conference on Innovative and Smart Materials, ICISM 2022, held in Krakow, Poland, on 9-11 December.
